JLPT has been offered by the Japan Foundation and Japan Educational Exchanges and Services since 1984 as a reliable means of evaluating and certifying the Japanese proficiency of non-native speakers. In 2011, there are over 610,000 test takers around the world.

JLPT in America is only offered in December. There are no July exam date in the US. Registration Fee for JLPT Test is $50 – $60 depending on the level.
JLPT Test Takers can apply for the JLPT online or by mail.
